- Sal Lethal [ born Salim Gaffar on January 20,1984 ] was raised in Nairobi,Kenya. He discovered hip hop through the sound of such artists as Talib Kweli,Nas,common,Immortal Technique,Dead Prez,The Roots,Mos Def,Canibus and KRS One and later on developed a strategy to become a rapper himself. He spits content of the right moment. His blazing lyrics focuses on spreading knowledge and inspiration. He delivers a message of peace and hope and he is opposed to oppression,destruction,violence and fights for justice on the microphone.
Conscious lyrics can never slip my mouth when a record label wanna change me on that bro am out. some see this genre as a limiting virtue but with my eyes wide open i see my self soon globally recognized as a legend stature. i believe there are plenty of positive/conscious listeners out there.
Sal Lethal has an album out titled ''Genesis of Sal,'' which includes singles such as,''its a done deal,infectious,Life and overseas flight.'' This album has appearances by Big dub Mrcocky and Ammoh.
